Empowering Young Readers in the Caribbean: Our 2025 Gift to Hands Across the Sea

In February we had the opportunity to visit several islands in the Caribbean as part of our evaluation for Path Six’s education mission. While we were there, it became incredibly clear how much access to books—and the simple joy of reading—can shape a child’s future.

That is why we’re thrilled to support Hands Across the Sea, a nonprofit dedicated to advancing literacy across the Caribbean by building, replenishing, and supporting primary-school libraries. Their programs place high-quality books directly into the hands of students and teachers, while also providing training and ongoing support to ensure libraries become vibrant hubs of learning.

Hands Across the Sea’s focus on primary education aligns perfectly with our foundation’s mission. Their track record is strong, their impact is measurable, and their commitment to long-term literacy development is inspiring.

Path Six is proud to contribute $1,000 in 2025 to help Caribbean students discover the confidence and opportunity that reading can unlock.
